Your Rights

Every individual has the right to request information about the personal data stored about them. You have the right to access all data held about you, including information about its origin, the purpose of processing, the category of processed data, the parties involved in a data collection, and the individuals and entities to whom the data is disclosed. You also have the right to have your data corrected, blocked, or deleted. Additionally, you have the right to revoke any consent given for the use of your personal data at any time. You also have the right to assert your claims through the courts or to file a complaint with the competent data protection authority. In Switzerland, the competent data protection authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch).

Please note, however, that we reserve the right to assert the legal limitations provided for by law—for example, if we are obliged to retain or process certain data, have an overriding interest (to the extent we are permitted to invoke it), or require the data to assert legal claims.

Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

When you visit this website, we do not collect any personal data from you. Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us via our contact form. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not processed further.

Use of Own Cookies

When visiting certain pages, a so-called "session cookie" is set. This is a small text file that is automatically deleted from your computer once the browser session ends. This file is used solely to enable the use of certain applications. You can change the settings in most web browsers to prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, or you can have received cookies deleted. How this works specifically for your browser can typically be found in its help function.

Server Log Files

As with every connection to a web server, the server of our web hosting provider, Hostpoint AG, Neue Jonastrasse 60, 8640 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland, logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and the operating system of your device, the access time, the type of browser, and the browser request, including the origin of the request (referrer). This is required for technical reasons to provide you with our website. We do not use this general data and information to draw conclusions about your identity. The web hosting provider protects this data with technical and organizational measures against unauthorized access and does not share it with third parties. To the extent that we process personal data in this context, we do so based on our interest in providing you with the best possible user experience and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.

Google Analytics

Social Networks

We may also use so-called plugins from social networks on our website. This is typically visible to you (usually through corresponding icons). You have the option to log in to your social network accounts, such as LinkedIn, Xing, and YouTube, and link them to us. By linking your social network account with us or logging in with your account credentials from a social network, you grant us permission to access information you have provided on your public profile of that social network account. If you activate the social plugins (by clicking), the operators of the respective social networks may also register that you are on our website and use this information for their purposes. In particular, if you are simultaneously connected to one of your social network accounts while visiting our website, they may associate this visit with your user account. The processing of your personal data then becomes the responsibility of the operator of the respective social network. Information on how to unlink us from a social media account can be found in the settings of that social media account and with the respective provider.

Retention of Data

We process and store your personal data as long as it is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations or otherwise for the purposes pursued by the processing, i.e., for example, for the duration of the entire business relationship (from initiation, processing to the termination of a contract) and beyond, in accordance with legal retention and documentation obligations. It is possible that personal data may be retained for the period during which claims can be made against our company, and as long as we are legally obligated to do so or legitimate business interests require it (e.g., for evidentiary and documentation purposes). Once your personal data is no longer required for the above-mentioned purposes, it will no longer be processed.

Disclosure of Data to Third Parties

The personal data we collect will not be disclosed to third parties unless it is necessary for the fulfillment of our business relationship with you. In such cases, you will be informed by us about the disclosure of the data. The obligation to disclose data to authorities and government offices in specific cases remains reserved.

Amendment of the Privacy Policy

We may amend this privacy policy at any time without prior notice. The most current version, published on our website, applies.
